That awkward moment when you’re trying to work on your NaNoWriMo novel and three strangers sit down at the small table you’re writing at.
THIS is why I hate circle tables.
My thoughts?

I’ll get that shit done tomorrow.
Alice laughed and looked into Ellie’s eyes, “You’re a smart girl. And I’m glad that you won’t ever let a man treat you like that, because you deserve better. But I… I’ve made a great deal of mistakes in my life, and I’m sure that I had this coming in one way or another.”
The pair was silent. Ellie couldn’t believe her ears. Deserve it? No one ever deserved to be abused or hurt by anyone, and she was sure of that.
Ellie looked down at her lap, “You don’t deserve it,” she said after a while. “You don’t.” She looked up at Alice’s face and saw the poorly covered bruises left there by Rich. It filled her with anger, “I don’t care what you’ve done. I know that you don’t deserve it.”
Alice bit her lip and looked away. She shook her head and inhaled sharply. Ellie knew that she was going to cry, and she didn’t know exactly how to handle it. She simply lent her hand to be held and listened to her sharp inhales and exhales. After a few minutes of listening to Alice cry, Ellie asked, “How did you get mixed up with such a bad guy?” Alice inhaled deeply and shut her eyes, “He wasn’t always such a bad guy. Uh uh. He was charming once. Cute, too.” She looked upwards, as if talking about it was taking her back in time, “But time took its toll on us, I guess. Sometimes that happens when you get older.”
I have completed my word count for the day, and I even wrote 200 extra words! I feel like writing more, too, so I might just keep going. It’s always better to be ahead!
In other news, I have a paper due, a project due, and 30 hours at work this week! I’m going to be so ridiculously busy. Wish me luck! I’m slightly concerned that I might die.
It’s time to shower, and maybe I’ll be able to finish before I leave for work! If not, I can bust out 500 words pretty easily when I get home. Hooray!!
Oh yes. I went there. I busted out the leopard printed Snuggie. I have to leave for work in One hour and seventeen minutes, and I want to bust out my words for the day and shower in that time.
Wish me luck!
